I was very much looking forward to seeing the new collection from new Swedish luxury label Nikolaj d'Etoiles. My expectations were probably a bit too high because the feeling I had with me when leaving the show was that I felt old and "non bratty". I do like the Russian court á la 1910 feel to some of the clothes but apart from that I wasn't really thrilled. I do realise that the clothes will do extraordinarily well around Stureplan, in Båstad, Marstrand and at Dalarö and I totally respect that they have a clear identity though it is not for me. It is always a joy to see very well tailored clothes as well - good work.
