Copenhagen fashion week is over and it has become time for part two of Stockholm Fashion Week. A whole week filled with shows, trade shows and fashion, fashion, fashion!

Even though the large dragons already have showed during Sthlm Fashion Week by Berns in the beginning of July this is still the main part of fashion week in Stockholm. The big trade show at Stockholm Fashion District (“Stockholms Modecenter”) attracts almost 15´000 visitors and all over town there are events like fashion shows, exhibitions and parties.

One of the favorites during this week is Rookies & Players because this is where the future of the Swedish fashion industry can be found.

Even though a fashion week mainly is for people working in the industry I am pleased to see that there are quite a few events for the public. It is always nice when “mortals” gets the chance to see small labels that do not always have the resources to market themselves to the public throughout the year.

There are obviously loads of events to look forward to but a personal favorite is Camilla Norrback´s show with following jetty party. It is hard to make it more Swedish than that!
