It is hard to avoid all the fashion sales that are going on all over town right now – big signs tempting with low prices in every corner.
The temptation to buy almost anything obviously increases when the prices go down but be careful so you do not buy a lot of clothes that you will never wear – just because they were cheap.
In an article some time ago Lars Wallin gave a few style tips . One of them was to put a name on your style and this for the simple reason not to buy a lot of clothes that will never be used. That is just one method of doing it.
What you should do before facing the sales is to think through what you really need for your wardrobe. Is it a suit, a hat, a pair of shoes? Just make sure that you get clothes that you need or the sale might end up very expensive.
Personally I don’t really see it as a sport to get anything this early on. This is only the beginning of the sales and discount is around 30%. Even though this might be a good price for something you need I really know what I want and think it is more of sport to get it when discounts reach 50% or more. Might be trickier to get the things you really want but that is definitely more of a challenge and the feeling is great when you do get it for that price.
