Filippa K continues the international expansion by opening their fourth shop in Hasselt, Belgium. This will also be the 40th Filippa K store in the world. Aaro Architects’ have worked with Filippa K for a long time and they have created a space that opens up toward the city and it´s light thought still taking the originality of the building into consideration. Large windows and a side entrance is some of the characteristics for the shop where a central “light drenched” room with a ceiling height of six meters create a feeling of serenity. A peaceful space for the fitting rooms faces the courtyard where visitors can sit down or have a walk around. Concrete floors and materials like oak and wool have been used to create a space that combines a contemporary style with a quality atmosphere. “We are very proud to open our fourth shop in Belgium. The market has become large enough for us to continue our expansion”, says Patrik Kihlborg, CEO Filippa K. The shop will offer all of Filippa K´s collections.
